Eye Wrinkle Cream: Tips & Tricks

Burning Sensation With Eye Wrinkle Cream

Those of us who’ve used eye wrinkle cream may be familiar with some of the unpleasant sensations it is capable of inducing. Fortunately, many of these sensations (predominately burning sensations) are the result of consumer error. Below, we’ll be discussing the various origins of burning sensations (while using eye wrinkle cream) and how to avoid them. If you’re experiencing any side-effects from your eye wrinkle cream not listed below, we recommend that you conduct further research online or contact your dermatologist.

The first and least apparent reason why some experience burning sensations while using eye wrinkle cream lies in the chemical composition of some creams. Many of the eye wrinkle creams currently available on the market contain some form of acid (such as retinoic acid). When these acids come into contact with human skin, they induce a burning sensation in the host. If your cream contains acid, this is a good indicator that’s its working. Otherwise, your burning sensation may be the result of improper crème application.

Have you ever noticed how little attention people pay to their face as they’re applying some sort of crème to it? Although many of you may pass this off as normal and acceptable, it’s truly not. Applying a crème to your face without regard to where it may end up is dangerous and plain stupid. Skin-care products contain a spectrum of different chemicals, each which the potential to stur conflict with body parts in and around your face. Eye wrinkle creams are no exception! As we’ve mentioned earlier, many eye wrinkle creams contain acids. When these crèmes are applied inappropriately (ie. far too high up under your eye, etc.) they can easily ignite burning sensations. Thus, it is paramount that an appropriate amount of care be taken to ensure that eye wrinkle cream is applied correctly and within reasonable distance from your eye.

Finally, allergies could be responsible for burning sensations sparked during wrinkle cream usage. Since eye wrinkle creams contain many different chemicals (as opposed to one or two) there is always a chance that one of these chemicals could ignite an allergic reaction. If you have reason to believe that your current eye wrinkle cream is giving you allergic reactions, it is suggested that you speak with your dermatologist. He or she should be able to determine whether your crème is causing problems, and if need be, will recommend an alternative product.

For those not intending to see a dermatologist, there is a cheaper way to find what specific chemical may be causing your reactions. Go out and purchase a new (but different) eye wrinkle cream and begin to use it. If you notice your burning sensations have faded, compare the ingredient lists on the back of both crèmes. Look for any chemicals which are in your new crème, but aren’t in your old one. One of these is the cause of your allergic reactions.

We wish you luck in attempting to pinpoint the source of your unpleasant sensations. If it turns out that none of the above are the sources of your discomfort, we strongly suggest that you consult your dermatologist. They should be able to make a more accurate determination as to what is causing your problems.
